The BA440 Qbus is 22 bits, so that should be fine shouldn't it? I've
never tried that combination, so I don't know for sure, but I think the
BA440 is QQCD (or whatever the designation is), no serpentine.

KDB50 + RA drive? An RA7x would (almost certainly) fit in one of disk bays.
You're supposed to use RF disks. I have an RF35 (or maybe two drives)
here but I don't know their status. I *think* they're SCSI with an
adapter board, and if so I could check the disk status at least.
A further alternative would be an HSDx0 + BA350 + StorageWorks disks in
caddies.
