For those who might be curious, the screw-on type AUI were a
requirement for TEMPEST installs back in the day.  I used to
have a bunch of them, too.  TEMPEST PC's would have a short
cable going from the network card (frequently Western Digital
WD8003E) to the bulkhead connector to make the transition
inside the beefed up TEMPEST case.  Those were the days!!

By the way, I still have a bunch of AUI to 10BaseT transceivers
still in their cute little cardboard boxes.  Their marketing
life was short and people I worked for ended out with more
spares than they could ever hope to use.  I imagine they are
getting rare at this point.
