Floppy pressure pad replacement?

I never thought about those. I been using a diameter of about 3/16" and the
cue is around 1/2". I did have some trouble with the pads being too heavy. I
looked at a couple suppliers and they do have a variety of hardness, but
didn't see any diameter choices. It may be worth a try.

I've long wondered if replacement billiard/snooker cue tips would make
an adequate substitute.  They're about 13mm in diameter and 5mm thick.
They come in various hardnesses and are inexpensive.
