Is tape dead?

Does this mean my ADAM tape drive system has a future after all? Naw! But one can wish. Are there tape systems in the PDP family, et. al., still running?

I cringed a little when I saw the headline TR put on that story. The 
story is saying that * some people argue * tape is having another 
chance. It's not * me * saying it, I'm just reporting....
