General Electric Terminet HP 2762A

I hadn't looked in years ... last time I checked, a DPS-8 emulator was just
a fantasy ... but now I see the time has finally come! Rock on Harry Reed!!!

Multics is the last operating system remaining on my must-try list (well, I
would still like to try MPE and OS/400 as well, but they're a bit more
contemporary) since they released the MTS tapes a couple of years back ...
Looking forward to fooling around this weekend! Sounds like it's maybe not
too far off before he's got the emulator capable of running Multics fully
in multi-user mode?

It's a shame that more Multics equipment wasn't preserved. We actually had
quite a few large sites running here in Michigan, according to the
historical record ... GM, Ford, Oakland University ... I'm honestly kind of
surprised that Ford didn't send at least a subset of their machine to the
Henry Ford Museum upon decommissioning, considering Multics' historical
significance. I guess they're more focused on cars than computers...
