Interfacing the Dura 1041 is very well covered in the book 'THE SELECTRIC INTERFACE A Hands-on Approach' by George Young.
There are whole chapters on the Dura 1041 printer, encoding the Dura eyboard, interfacting the punch, tape reader and more.

Steve.
