I'd think a nice blast with a oxy-acetylene torch should do what is needed. Even if it doesn't melt the disk, it will surely exceed the Currie point and all data is gone.

Cadweld Thermite Bonding Kits are listed on Amazon.
Personally, I would prefer to drop these drives into the Sun.
