I have a pair of beige G3, checklist:
- PULL the battery. if it is drained, it sometimes won't boot. Sometimes
even won't power on!
- Take care with the plastics, they're brittle
- The CD **ON THE POWERMAC G3** can be of any brand to boot (most macs
need an Apple branded CD!). So if you won't boot, probably the cd-romd
river is gone. Change it for any working IDE drive.
- Use MacOS 9.
Anything else?
