Interesting observations.  I learned to 
type on both an Apple II and a Brother 
electric typewriter (kinda like a 
daisywheel printer with a keyboard).... 
but I'll never forget the first time I 
laid hands on the original IBM PC 
keyboard.   The quality of that feel!   
The quality of that sound!    I didn't 
like the machine but I loved that 
spacious keyboard.

Many years later, it was nostalgia for 
that feel and sound that led me to 
connecting the 1994 model M I'm still 
using today, on any PC I use.   Any 
other keyboard just won't do.
