. . . and, it is using two computers.
It might take 10 minutes to transfer a file.  If, instead, you copy 
to a disk for 9 minutes on one computer, and then sneakernet that disk to 
another computer, and read it for 9 minutes, which is faster?


But, what's the big hurry?
Remember when getting same day turn-around on batch processing jobs was an 
improvement?
