My friends use parallel port zip drives as their way of getting software 
to/from their old PCs. They seem work well, the software wasn't bad, 100MB 
is a lot of dos software.

On my Dolch luggable which is a much newer Pentium era box, I always have 
to boot into Windows 98 to pick up the USB thumbdrive. I copy stuff off 
then reboot into DOS usually.
