Personally, I worry a bit about LED lamps supplanting the incandescents. 
  In my home, I have several custom fixtures that rely on the look of 
the clear bulbs.  An LED lamp, not even a fake filament one, isn't going 
to look right.

I've gone shopping for fixtures and am disgusted with the "made in 
China" looks of some.
