You assume incorrectly.  I mean exactly what it sounds like.

Lots of places.  The folks at Oak Ridge ("Atomic City") ran a 5-processor
SMP configuration.

Yes.  Eric Smith was incorrect in his identification of the processor as a
KI-10.
